Mandraki (Lefteraki's)

Tucked into the same Mandraki bay east of Hydra town, this is the more traditional, laid-back corner of the beach — Lefteraki's. Straw umbrellas and sunbeds line the pebble-and-sand shore, with a friendly beach taverna right behind serving fresh food, drinks and coffee through the day.
It is the easygoing, local alternative to the big resort — perfect for a long swim and a relaxed lunch by the water.
Getting there: walk about 25–30 minutes along the coastal path east of the port, or take a water taxi from Hydra harbour.
