Hydra Art Walk 2026

Hydra Art Walk turns the whole island into an open-air gallery. Physical posters by more than 20 artists are placed around the harbour, the alleyways and the hillside walls — and each one is a portal: point your phone's camera at a poster and the artwork comes alive in your browser, extended into augmented reality. There is no app to download.
How it works. Find a poster, unmute your phone, point the camera and watch & listen. Painting, sculpture, poetry and music unfold on screen, each with a personal audio message from the artist about what drew them to Hydra.
What to expect. Beyond the AR posters, the whole season is full of studio visits, openings and events across the island — from the harbour and Kamini to spots like the Windmill and the Hydrama Theatre. Most of it is free to explore; a few special experiences are ticketed.
When: Edition III runs 21 June – 15 October 2026. It is a hybrid exhibition by the DigitalBohemians collective, and it returns every year.
